Who we are

Where the Arts Live

POBA is a dynamic and engaging “virtual cultural arts center” which celebrates the enduring and transformative creativity of the arts and makes available the works of talented artists who in their lifetimes left remarkable, but as yet unrecognized treasure troves of outstanding creations. POBA is being designed by Songmasters at the behest of the James K. Bernard Foundation to offer a collection of galleries in a range of artistic fields as well as archival resources. Serving both the families and estates of talented amateurs and professionals alike, this site will ultimately feature private vaults, public displays, juried exhibitions, writings, spoken and musical performances, film screenings and more.

In the Fall of 2013, the Foundation will launch the POBA website with a few key exhibits and will continue to inform and invite others to join in recognizing, supporting, and enjoying the artistic legacies which POBA artists have left behind to inspire, provoke, intrigue, entertain, and enliven us.
